At Divinity Recovery, Inc., we offer treatment for a variety of mental health conditions. Common mental health conditions are depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder; however, we provide treatment for more than just those three. There is hope if you have been recently diagnosed with a mental health condition. A variety of treatment methods are available, so please, don’t be afraid to ask for help.
There are many treatment methods we use here, at Divinity Recovery. The main form of treatment available is psychotherapy, also called talk therapy or counseling. During psychotherapy, you will meet with a counselor to discuss things bothering you. Common forms of psychotherapy include cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectal behavioral therapy. This form of treatment can be helpful for many individuals, with or without a mental health condition. Another form of treatment is prescription medication. Medications can help improve symptoms but are not a cure for mental health conditions. There is also the option of hospitalization or residential treatment programs. These are beneficial if you are in danger of harming yourself or others or when you are finding it difficult to care for yourself. It is important to remember that not every form of treatment is beneficial or needed for everyone. The form of treatment that is best is one that works for you.
