Opiate Detox

Opiate Detox

At Divinity Recovery, Inc., we offer Opiate Detox for those struggling with an opiate addiction. This is the first step in a life-long process. Opiate Addiction is a chronic medical condition with long-term changes to the brain. However, it can be treated through counseling and medication.

How it Works

Opiate Detox uses multiple levels of intervention to manage acute intoxication and withdrawal. We seek to minimize physical harm caused by abuse of substances and clear out toxins from the body. Chances of recovery and long-term stability increase significantly when this first step is taken, followed by the steps to come, such as inpatient or outpatient treatment.

Inpatient drug and alcohol abuse programs have the highest success rates due to the fact that the individual has the capacity to completely submerge themselves in opioid rehab without any disruptions acting as an obstacle toward their progress.

The Detox Process

While in Opiate Detox, you will first be assessed by our team of certified and licensed professionals, who will then create a treatment plan for you according to your specific needs and goals. We will discuss all aspects of your life, such as drug use, family, and work life. Next will be the stabilization/monitoring phase. This is where you will experience your withdrawal symptoms, which may last for hours or even days, depending on the drug(s) that was/were abused. Please note, after initial symptoms subside, physical and, or mental discomfort may linger for weeks.

Our main goal during this phase is to keep you, the client, safe and to help manage your symptoms. The final step of Opiate Detox is aftercare. This stage looks different from client to client. This could be anything from inpatient or outpatient care, to weekly meetings for your sobriety. The final step of your Opiate Detoxification will be discussed heavily between your team of certified providers and licensed clinicians.
